The State-wise details of protected monuments of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) including forts and temples in the country are given in annexure. The centrally protected forts and temples are in a good state of preservation. Conservation of monuments including forts and temples is a continuous process depending upon the need for repairs and availability of resources.
