The Minister of State for Communications & Information Technology Shri Milind Deora informed Lok Sabha in a written reply yesterday that in view of the stringent financial position of BSNL (BSNL has incurred losses during the last three years), all India LTC has been frozen for two years w.e.f. 05.09.2011 for all BSNL employees and officers except those who are retiring during this period. However hometown LTC continues.
